Hello everyone, happy Friday/Weekend!
I am proud to announce that our 20.10 Feature Freeze ISO’s are Available For Testing.
Since 20.04.1 we have not added much-but that doesn’t mean we wont give up.However-there are still many goals. Such as:
- Improving our GTK Theme
- Adding X-Apps and Nemo Extensions
And countlessly, many more.
As the developer here-I’ve been looking into adding support for new architectures (like arm64) and making our own new Cinnamon Spices (They will be added to the official Spices website, so regardless of what distribution you have, as long as you have Cinnamon you can run it).
We have added the xapp ‘xed’, a text editor based on Pluma. And don’t worry-we would add more but stability is our main concern and we don’t want to push out updates unless we are certain they will build well and don’t have deprecated features that can cause problems.
But, we have also been maintaining 20.04 LTS-a recent muffin patch has been moved to official repositories.
Regardless- it is still a win for me and the few other people who help me, it’s progress.
