Ubuntu Cinnamon 20.10 ‘Groovy Gorilla’ Release Candidates Available

Hello everyone,

It’s that time again! We are six days away from release and it’s time for our release candidates, along with the other Ubuntu remixes and official flavors to release theirs as well.

We do this to ensure that our release, and when you upgrade can be the best possible.

Upgrading information will be available on the day of release along with the release notes.

So per usual; I’m relying on you to help test our quality assurance for this release.

We won’t really have a better understanding of the bugs if you don’t do anything to report it to us; so PLEASE:
Reach out on our Discord (We need it to grow, so please join!), our Telegram or any forms of social media on our contact page.

When reporting a bug, use the ubuntu-bug command.

For Ubuntu Cinnamon specific packages, the ubuntu-bug command will not work, please contact us instead.

Once you’ve signed in with your Ubuntu One account and have filed the Launchpad bug, go to iso.qa.ubuntu.com (if you are testing an official flavor) and write down your test case results along with the Launchpad Bug Number.

In the end of the day, I rely on you; so I’ll do my part, and I’ll test too, and I hope to see you helping as well.

If you have free time, make sure you test our friends at UbuntuDDE, Ubuntu Unity and all the Ubuntu flavors/product developers at iso.qa.ubuntu.com.

As you can see in the featured image of this post, I need to do some investigation… so I’ll be busy with that.

See you soon in hopes of a great release<
